WORLD-CLASS APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING:
Apprenticeship is the process of learning a skilled occupation through both on-the-job training (practical, paid experience) and related technical knowledge in a classroom. While apprenticeship training helps employees gain valuable technical skills to improve their job performance, it also focuses on job-related safety. This combination of skills and safety training adds an impressive layer of risk reduction that delivers proven results. Apprenticeship training can reverse rising experience mods for a company struggling with work-related injuries. The Apprenticeship program is approved by the NYS Department of Labor and NYS Department of Education and provides related classroom instruction. Our list of trades continually adapts to the needs of the economy.
In addition to Career specific training, workers receive instruction in:
- First Aid/CPR/AED (7 hours)
- Sensitivity - Sexual Harassment – Discrimination Training (3 hours)
- Labor Relations – History (6 hours)
- Industrial & Labor Relations – Current Laws & Practices (14 hours)
- Hazard Communication & Asbestos Awareness & Right-To-Know (3 hours)
The Program provides comprehensive risk management in which we provide all OSHA Safety and Health Training Courses.
